Responsibilities - your mission:
Position opened in the Customs department under the leadership of the Tax & Customs Centre of Competences within Finances covering all Divisions.

Monitor, analyse and communicate regulatory changes impacting customs activities worldwide.
-
Integrated into a transverse team, will be able to support requests from all Airbus divisions, through an internal multinational network of customs experts, by structuring trade data and turning regulatory analysis into actionable guidelines for the teams in different geographies.

With strong analytic and critical mindset, continuously propose improvements to the regulatory data management process.

The Data Specialist will work closely with the Financial Systems customs representative, to reach end-to-end digital data management, through activities with all departments involved in data needed for customs declarations, such as Procurement, Transport-Logistic, Manufacturing, Programs, Finances, etc.
Requirements - our ideal candidate will have:

A recognized Bachelor or Master degree related to Law/Trade, Business management, Engineering or Data Science.

Experience using SAP for logistics is desirable and experience with data-oriented programming (e.g. Python, SQL) would be an asset
-
Experience in Customs classification is a plus
-
Willingness to learn about Customs. more specifically about classification rules
-
English is mandatory and an additional language would be an asset

At least 3-5 years experience

Experience of analysis and evaluation of national and inter-company cross-border business relationships.

Proven ability to cooperate with people, preferably across geographies, even without formal reporting lines (e.g. virtual team),capable of both teamwork and working independently, working with integrity and ethics
-
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to rapidly establish credibility and trust among a broad range of individuals within the company and through virtual means of communication.
-
Outstanding conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills, coupled with a high energy level.
-
Creativity, innovation and sense of anticipation are key skills for this position, Critical thinking.
-
Awareness and sensitivity to other cultures and ability to effectively work with colleagues in other countries and regions. This ideally includes international and multicultural working and living experience.

Self learner, i.e. being self aware of strengths and weaknesses, being open and receptive to feedback and taking the steps to improve, as necessary.
