A Power BI Engineer is a data specialist who leverages Microsoft’s Power BI platform to develop data-driven solutions that support business intelligence and strategic decision-making. This role involves transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights through interactive dashboards and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Modeling & Analysis

• Design and build data models that align with business requirements.

• Use DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) to create efficient, scalable models.

• Convert raw data into meaningful visualizations that support data-driven decisions.

Visualization & Reporting

• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop.

• Present trends, patterns, and key insights in a visually compelling and user-friendly format.

Data Integration & Transformation

• Connect to various data sources and use Power Query to extract, transform, and load data.

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all reports and dashboards.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs.

• Communicate complex data insights in a clear and accessible manner to non-technical audiences.

Qualifications & Skills

• 2 or more years experience in data-focused roles.

• Data Modeling: Familiar with Star and Snowflake schema models.

• DAX & Power Query: Strong command of DAX and Power Query for data modeling and transformation.

• Integration: Familiarity with integrating Power BI with Azure services such as Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric items

• Documentation: Skilled in documenting data flows, source-to-target mappings, and data dictionaries.

• Flexible to report onsite at any of Manila office locations: Alabang, BGC, Cubao and Mandaluyong City
