Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer – AWS, Kubernetes & CI/CD
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with 10–15 years of overall experience and strong hands-on expertise in AWS DevOps, CI/CD automation, and Kubernetes-based microservices deployments. The ideal candidate will have deep experience designing and maintaining end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, integrating security scanning and monitoring tools, and supporting large-scale cloud modernization programs. Exposure to AI Agents and intelligent automation is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for microservices using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and related tools.
Automate build, test, security scan, and deployment workflows across multiple environments.
Deploy and manage containerized microservices on Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
Manage artifact repositories using Nexus.
Integrate code quality, security scanning, and compliance tools into CI/CD pipelines.
Integrate monitoring, logging, and observability tools into the DevOps lifecycle.
Collaborate with development, architecture, and security teams to implement Dev Sec Ops best practices.
Support AWS cloud infrastructure provisioning and application deployments.
Troubleshoot CI/CD, deployment, and runtime issues in distributed systems.
Continuously improve pipeline performance, reliability, and security.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior DevOps engineers.
Required Skills & Experience:
DevOps & CI/CD
10–15 years of overall IT experience with strong DevOps focus.
Hands-on experience with:
Jenkins
GitHub, GitHub Actions
GitLab, GitLab CI
Strong experience designing enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with branching strategies, PR workflows, and release management.
Cloud & Containers:
Strong hands-on experience with AWS DevOps.
Experience deploying and managing microservices on Kubernetes (EKS).
Hands-on with Docker and container lifecycle management.
Experience with AWS services such as:
EC2, S3, IAM, VPC
EKS, CloudWatch, CloudFormation / Terraform (good to have)
Artifact & Dependency Management:
Experience with Nexus Repository Manager.
Understanding of dependency management for Java and microservices ecosystems.
Security, Scanning & Monitoring
Experience integrating SAST tools (e.g., Sonar Qube, Checkmarx, Fortify).
Experience integrating DAST tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, Veracode).
Experience integrating container/image scanning tools (e.g., Trivy, Aqua, Prisma).
Experience with monitoring and observability tools, such as:
Prometheus
Grafana
ELK / Open Search
AWS CloudWatch
Understanding of Dev Sec Ops and shift-left security practices.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Experience with Git Ops tools (ArgoCD, Flux).
Exposure to AI Agents, intelligent automation, or AIOps tools.
Knowledge of service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
AWS or Kubernetes certifications (AWS DevOps Engineer, CKA).
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work in Agile / DevOps delivery models.
Ownership mindset with the ability to work independently in complex environments.
Education:
Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
AWS Cloud or Agentic/ Generative AI certifications are a plus.
