Summary:

As an Infrastructure Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with various teams to support the design and development of data center technology components. The role includes assisting in defining technical requirements and participating in testing activities to ensure the reliability and efficiency of infrastructure solutions. This position requires active engagement in problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts to maintain optimal data center operations and support organizational goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of infrastructure projects with business needs.
• Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance to enhance system availability and reliability.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience in database administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of database systems.
• Strong knowledge of backup and recovery techniques to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex database performance issues.
• Familiarity with security best practices related to database management and data protection.
• Experience in automating routine tasks and managing database jobs and schedules.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
