Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions that involve Test Automation with Python skills and primarily responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing solutions to ensure high software quality. This role bridges the gap between development and quality assurance, often requiring expertise in building custom frameworks and integrating them into modern development workflows.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Framework Development: Design and implement scalable automation frameworks using Python (e.g., Py Test, Robot Framework).
Script Creation: Develop robust and reusable test cases ad write scripts for embedded hardwares, simulations and performance of the system.
Pipeline Integration: Configure and manage automated tests within CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
Defect Management: Identify, document, and track bugs through their entire lifecycle using Jira.
Performance & Regression: Execute scheduled regression suites and conduct performance or load testing to ensure system stability.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Python: Strong understanding of OOPs concepts and data structures.
Automation Tools: Expert in Automation test development using python, c/c++ libraries.
API Testing: Experience with libraries like Requests or tools like Postman.
Version Control: Proficiency with Git (branching, merging, pull requests).
RTOS & Linux: Familiarity with development and testing software running on Linux and other real-time kernels.
Typically experience of 2+ years in embedded systems on semiconductor domains.
