The Opportunity

This position works out of our Casa Grande, Arizona location in the Abbott Nutrition division. Our Nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active. What You'll Work On

You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.

Labelers/Over cappers

  • Ensure proper operation of labelers and over cappers
  • Ensure correct labels and over caps for product being filled are used
  • Ensure daily maintenance of labeler and over capper
  • Changeover of equipment and track work for various can sizes
  • Routine PM's for equipment
  • Pull samples as required

Hand and Auto Packers/Palletizer Tray/Shrink wrapper

  • Auto or hand case packing/tray wrapping and pallet stacking of all products
  • Ensure proper operation of equipment
  • Changeover of equipment for various can sizes
  • Routine PM's on equipment
  • Perform outgoing inspection per work order requirement
  • Stretch wrap finished pallets and supply lid feed system

In-Process Testing/Documentation Line Support; Forklift Operation

  • Ensure adequate line supplies of products and materials
  • Staging and removal of pallets

You'll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

Shift and Pay

  • Shift: 12-hour DAY shift from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Schedule: Every other weekend off
  • Pay Rate: $23/hr
  • Base Pay Range: $19.05 – $38.15/hour (In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted)

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

Significant Work Activities

  • Continuous standing for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)
  • Continuous walking for prolonged periods (more than 2 hours at a time in an 8 hour day)
  • Lift, carry, push or pull weights of more than 20 pounds/9 kilos on a regular/daily basis
  • Wear ear plugs
  • Work in a clean room environment
