As the Head of IT Application – Plan Build Run Lead, you will be the key point of contact for all IT matters across multiple strategic countries and divisions. You will lead the Regional IT Council, manage IT delivery and integration, and ensure alignment with Abbott’s global IT strategy. This role is pivotal in bridging business needs with IT solutions, ensuring seamless operations and strategic support across the region.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage regional IT operations across multiple countries and divisions

  • Manage business relationship and portfolio planning, demand intake, and prioritization

  • Ensure compliance with IT quality, cybersecurity, and regulatory standards

  • Act as liaison between business units and IT, supporting strategic decision-making

  • Oversee IT audits, budget planning, and internal/external customer support

  • Coordinate integration activities and ensure smooth transitions into BTS

  • Develop documentation, training, and support materials for end users

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in IT or a related business discipline; MBA is a plus

  • 10 years of experience in IT Application, proven leadership in regional or global IT roles

  • Technical expertise in business systems, ERP, LAN/WAN, cybersecurity, and infrastructure

  • Experience in project management and commercial standard processes

  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex portfolios

  • Familiarity with regulatory environments and audit compliance

  • Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • Fluency in English and one local language; additional languages are a plus
