Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Product Manager in optimizing the offer portfolio and return on investment. Each day, you will ensure that ABB has full understanding of market requirements in a specific area and can transform those requirements into offer specifications and development activities. You will also showcase your expertise by performing various offer lifecycle activities supporting the development, launch, maintenance, pricing, and profitability.

For this position, we could consider hiring a less experienced candidate (grade 14)

This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings division located in Vittuone (MI) with a focus on Business line Energy Distribution.

Main stakeholders are global markets and internal functions such as Sales, R&D, SCM etc.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Managing line protection devices from both a technical and a business perspective, establishing an international network, and representing the voice of the customer within our organization.
• Performing in-depth market analysis (trends, competition, standardization) and identifying customer requirements, value proposition, and unlocking new opportunities for ABB.
• Translating customer needs into technical requirements and taking the lead within the product development or cost streamlining process.
• Taking the full responsibility for the profitability of the product ranges managed and of their development in the future.
• Initiating and driving go to market strategy, such as launch planning and product implementation in conjunction with global sales and marketing.
• Managing the full Life cycle of respective product portfolio. You will join a dynamic team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

• Ability to demonstrate your experience in Product Management or Product Marketing are preferred - at least 2 years.
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of Market of low voltage energy distribution - products, applications and solutions, such as DIN Rail protection devices.
• Degree in Electrical-, Mechanical-, Mechatronics engineering or relevant discipline.
• You are at ease communicating in English and Italian fluently is a must, both written and spoken.
• You are highly skilled in proven ability to meet deadlines and get results with many priorities and under tight timeframes.
• You are captivated by leadership through influence, problem solving, team-working, communication, result orientation complete the profile.
