In this role, you will combine a strong understanding of finance and other cross functional processes such as order to cash, procure to pay with deep expertise in data and technology to design unified, scalable data architectures delivering Finance data products. In addition to core SAP domains knowledge, experience of SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere / Business Data Cloud and partner technologies including Snowflake would be beneficial.
Drive adoption of data products and intelligent applications aligned to business objectives - ensuring data investments deliver tangible value. You will collaborate closely with finance data product teams, process owners, and IS colleagues to shape core data products, champion change management, and contribute to our broader data strategy and architecture.

Your Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and analyze business processes and requirements for building Finance data products.
- Support designing robust, scalable, data models and building scalable data pipelines that support data products and high performing modern cloud data architectures using SAP (S/4HANA, MDG, BW/4HANA, Datasphere/BDC) and non-SAP platforms (e.g. Snowflake, MS fabric, Databricks).
- Establish and enforce data governance frameworks, standards, and principles to ensure data quality, security, lineage, lifecycle management, and compliance with regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Deep knowledge of SAP core data structures and proven ability to integrate SAP and non-SAP data into coherent foundations that support distinct needs from Businesses, advanced analytics and AI use cases.
- Supports the validation and prioritization of incoming business demand, in collaboration with the relevant demand managers, and Finance data products working forum.
- Contributes to data Strategy and architecture discussions along with the wider Finance Process data and systems team and Core-common data product forum.
- Ensure compliance with ABB's integrity, data privacy, GDPR, and safety standards and the core values of ABB in the assigned area.
Your Background
- Master's degree in finance or computer science or related field
- Minimum 8-10+ Year of experience in FP&A and or R2R business process area, in large multinational, with a focus on analytics and data modeling in cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of SAP architecture, data models (e.g., SAP BW4HANA, S/4HANA), and core business processes (Finance, HR, Supply Chain, etc.).
- Understand IT processes including agile delivery and working in team of teams.
- Having exposure to non-SAP data analytics environments like Snowflake will be an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
- A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
