This Position reports to: Local Lead Manager Robotics (RA) Baltics

Work model: Hybrid (#Li-hybrid)

Location: ABB Latvia

Responsibilities

You will have the opportunity to work as a Sales Engineer within the Robotics division, contributing to projects of different complexity. You will support the delivery of engineering solutions that meet customer expectations, quality standards, and safety requirements. Working closely with project managers, sales and cross-functional teams, you will be involved throughout the project journey, from early design and sales support to installation, commissioning, and project closure.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Supporting engineering activities across robotics projects, including design tasks, documentation, and technical support during testing, installation, and commissioning
  • Contributing to customer and sales activities by participating in project discussions, helping resolve technical questions, and supporting quotations, proposals, and bills of materials
  • Ensuring that engineering solutions meet agreed requirements related to quality, safety, cybersecurity, and contracts, while supporting risk and change management activities
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and cost, and are technically completed in a structured and transparent way

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering or a related technical field
  • Experience in project/sales engineering or a similar role, within automation, robotics, or industrial projects
  • Ability to work with technical documentation, engineering standards, and basic design verification activities
  • Interest in customer-facing work, including cooperation with sales teams and participation in technical discussions
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work efficiently in cross-functional teams
  • Structured way of working, with attention to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
  • Driver's license (B)
  • Good command of Latvian and English, for smooth cooperation with stakeholders and clients

Compensation

While the base salary is based on the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, it starts at 2200€ gross.
