Position Overview
Reports to: Service Team Leader
Your Role
With your technical expertise and years of experience, you play a crucial role in supporting our industrial customers. As Field Service Engineer Drives, you are the point of contact on site and ensure that installations perform optimally. You independently carry out commissioning, fault analysis and maintenance work, using your knowledge to not only solve problems, but also implement preventive improvements. Thanks to your experience, you can advise customers and guide colleagues, making you an important link within our service team. You work directly with various customers in different industries, which provides variety and challenging projects.
Responsibilities
- Independently install and commission frequency converters
- Perform complex fault analysis and problem solving
- Implement digital services such as remote monitoring and predictive maintenance
- Perform preventive maintenance and suggest optimizations
- Provide technical advice and support to customers regarding operational reliability and efficiency
- Coordinate and direct colleagues and subcontractors on site
- Ensure detailed reporting and documentation
- Identify opportunities for improvement and provide support to the sales department
Qualifications
- Technical training at MBO+ or HBO level, preferably in electromechanics, energy technology or industrial automation
- Extensive experience in an industrial or technical service role
- Strong analytical skills and an independent, solution-oriented work attitude
- Good communication skills, with experience in customer contact and advisory work
- Leadership and coordination skills; you know how to effectively direct colleagues and partners on site
- Willingness to work flexibly, including participation in on-call services
- Excellent command of Dutch and English
- Driver's license B – you will be provided with a company car
