Facilities & Maintenance Manager:
Position Description
Responsible for diagnosing problems in machinery and production equipment.
Essential Duties
- Conduct maintenance inspections including troubleshooting, adjustments, redesign, repair, and installation of equipment
- Perform maintenance work requiring a high degree of manual and technical skills
- Analyze and resolve complex technical problems (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, among others)
- Provide technical support to maintenance personnel
- Demonstrate basic knowledge in PLC (troubleshooting and adjustments)
- Perform general work assignments delegated by your supervisor
- Responsible for housekeeping of your work area
- Report to supervisor immediately any unsafe work conditions or accidents
- Perform other tasks as required by your supervisor
Requirements and Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Electronic and/or Electrical Technology, preferred, accredited by PR and/or EU
- Minimum 3 years experience in similar position
- Qualified in LOTO
- Knowledge and interpretation of blueprints
- Knowledge of manual and/or electrical tools and equipment
- Customer service focused
- English and Spanish communication skills
- Comply with established attendance and punctuality standards
- Maintain good work habits
- Comply with Quality standards, practices and regulations, including ISO 9001; HSE, including ISO 14001; and Human Resources policies, Employee Manual, Attendance Policy, Code of Conduct, among others
