Manufacturing Unit Manager:
Do you want to be at the birth of a new manufacturing site and influence the way its safe operation is shaped from day one?
We are looking for a colleague who is passionate about Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), Fire Protection, and Environmental Protection, and who wants to be a true partner to employees and management.
Work model: onsite
This role is contributing to ELSP division in Brno/Blučina, Czech Republic.
Job Responsibilities:

Set up and co-create rules for safe operation in a new, modern manufacturing facility

Ensure compliance with Czech legislation and ABB company standards in the areas of OHS, Fire Protection, and Environmental Protection
-
Carry out risk assessments and propose preventive and corrective measures
-
Lead incident investigations to identify root causes and corrective actions
-
Support the supplier evaluation process
-
Train employees and promote awareness of safe behavior
-
Cooperate with site management and other teams in building a strong safety culture
Your Profile
-
Minimum 3 years of experience in OHS, ideally with experience in ensuring OHS during project implementation or service activities
-
Advantage: knowledge of electrical safety, including qualification under Czech Government Regulation No. 194/2022, and experience working on electrical systems up to 1000V and above 1000V
-
Qualification as a Certified Safety Technician (OZO) for risk prevention in OHS according to Act No. 309/2006 Coll.

English proficiency at minimum B1 level + proficiency in Czech language
