Key Responsibilities
Become a Service Technician (m/f/d) at ABB in Minden! In our Instrumentation Workshop, you are responsible for repairs and calibrations of flow measurement technology products. With your expertise and customer focus, you play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and driving the growth of our service center.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Professional repair, calibration, and adjustment of flow measurement technology products
- Diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution of device faults, including fault analysis
- Independent setup of the workspace as well as disassembly, cleaning, and assembly of various device types
- Inspecting, assessing, and documenting the technical condition of repaired devices
- Timely creation and processing of service reports and other documentation
- Providing telephone customer support and cooperating with quality assurance on complaint issues
- Continuous improvement of personal skills and overall service processes
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training of at least three years in a relevant field
- Professional experience in measurement and control technology preferred
- Independent, team-oriented, and quality-focused working style with strong customer focus
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of SAP/ERP systems is an advantage
- Fluent German and basic English skills, both written and spoken
- High self-motivation and flexibility
