Reporting line: Sales Manager – ELDS China
- Sales Manager
- Datacenter Key Accounts is one of key leaders in Electrification Distribution Solution China. Drive mid-long term key account sales strategy in Datacenter segment and ensure sustainable growth in local market. Not limited by the boundary, representing overall ELDS portfolio wherever is needed. Acting as key interface to Datacenter key accounts and customer-centric value driver. Continuously fulfilling customer current & future needs, enhance the win-win cooperation between ABB and Datacenter key accounts, strengthen the customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Being a key player for Datacenter key accounts mid & long-term business planning, defining key account sales strategy/targets and establishing appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance
- Drives beyond the targets
- Demonstrates leadership in sales team beyond the boundaries of product line, customer centric and outside-in thinking to facilitate best customer value, overall portfolio solutions sales approaches in defined Datacenter key accounts
- Deep dives in Datacenter segment and identify/provide competitive offering to Datacenter key accounts with high customer satisfaction
- Anticipates and identifies the shortfalls when there are risks, takes appropriate remedial actions proactively to fight for the targets
- Identifies and manages potential risks related to contract agreements across customers/channels
- Develops, reviews, implements and improves sales process and tools to enhance sales effectiveness
- Performs organization competence assessment, facilitates proper training and up-skills mechanism to build result oriented, competent, effective and high-performance team

- Customer centric mindset, proactively brings voice of market into the organization, challenges the status quo to facilitate agile response to the external changes
- Result orientation, driving attitude through mature leadership, provides guiding to sales team to reach and exceed sales targets by partnering with local panel builders
- Level up thinking, collaboration across team and business to maximize ABB winning opportunities at market
Qualifications
- Bachelor or above, majoring in Electrical Engineering or related is preferred
- At least 8 years' working experience in sales for Datacenter segment, with Key Account Management experience is preferred
- At least 3 years' people management experience
- MV Switchgears domain know-how and application know-how
- Familiar with purchasing behavior of Datacenter customers, value-based selling & captured team selling capabilities are preferred
- Team spirit and good communication skills
- Good command in English
