This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we've announced the plan for Soft Bank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. About the Role
Reporting to the ABB Robotics Corporate Treasurer, you will play a key role in building the Treasury foundation for ABB Robotics as a standalone company. You will be responsible for Treasury accounting, reporting, and controlling, establishing a robust global Treasury control framework, and owning Treasury systems and governance. Working closely with Treasury experts, Finance teams, and separation workstreams, you will ensure Treasury processes, controls, and systems are compliant, scalable, and aligned with best practices across approximately 40 countries.

Work model: Hybrid
Location: Europe, preferably Zurich, Switzerland or Milan, Italy
Some amount of travelling might be required for this position.
Responsibilities
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Treasury Accounting & Reporting: Lead global Treasury accounting and controlling activities, including management reporting, budgeting and forecasting for the Treasury function, and support for Group and regulatory reporting, including disclosures.
- Treasury Governance & Controls: Establish and maintain Treasury policies, guidelines, and the global standard control framework, serving as the key point of contact for auditors and ensuring robust governance and compliance.
- Treasury Systems Ownership: Act as global process and application owner for the Treasury Management System (Kyriba), leading system design, implementation, governance, and continuous enhancement in line with Treasury and separation requirements.
- Process Design & Operational Excellence: Build and standardize end-to-end Treasury accounting and reporting processes, controls, and systems, and ensure effective operational execution post-separation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Transformation: Collaborate with Treasury domain experts, Finance teams, and project workstreams to support a lean, resilient Treasury operating model aligned with ABB Robotics' global footprint.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with additional professional qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a global Treasury function, with a strong focus on Treasury controlling and Treasury Management Systems (Kyriba experience a plus)
- Strong knowledge of Treasury instruments, financial products, and Treasury accounting and reporting requirements
- Proven experience designing and implementing Treasury processes, controls, and systems, including operational execution
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial skills, with the ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
- Recognized team player with excellent collaboration, business partnering, and communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal English skills
