Role Overview

  • Reports to: Service & Engineering Manager
  • Work model: Hybrid
  • Location: Process Automation in Brno

We are looking for a new colleague to join ABB as a Control Systems Specialist. Are you interested in control systems and eager to contribute to energy and automation projects for both the Czech and international markets? Then this position is exactly what you're looking for.

Under the guidance of an experienced systems engineer, you will implement hardware and software solutions for control systems and gradually take on more complex projects. Join us and let's write the future together.

Responsibilities

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Implementation of domestic and international projects involving control systems, from design to final commissioning at the customer site
  • Development of application software and related documentation
  • Execution of tasks under the supervision of the lead project engineer or an experienced systems engineer
  • Responsibility for the successful completion of individual project phases according to the project timeline
  • Team collaboration, peer review, and support of fellow colleagues

Qualifications

  • Minimum of secondary education in electrical engineering
  • Willingness to travel (within the Czech Republic and abroad)
  • Compliance with Government Regulation No. 194/2022
  • Communicative level of English
  • Previous experience in the same or a similar technically oriented position (preferred)
