This Position reports to: Technical Training Manager

Apprenticeship Overview

The apprenticeship program for Industrial Clerks lasts three years. You will begin with an introductory event where you'll learn essential methods for a successful start and have the chance to meet other apprentices and key ABB contacts.

Your apprenticeship alternates regularly between theoretical lessons at vocational school and hands-on training at one of ABB's modern training centers.

During Vocational School

  • Acquire fundamental knowledge in languages, IT, and business administration

During Practical Phases

  • Apply and deepen your knowledge by working on real-life tasks
  • Take part in self-managed projects
  • Support various commercial departments

After Completion

Potential areas of employment at ABB include:

Qualifications

Educational Requirements

Ideal foundation includes one of the following:

  • Secondary school diploma (Mittlere Reife)
  • Entrance qualification for a university of applied sciences (Fachhochschulreife)
  • General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur)

With good grades in Mathematics, German, English, and business-related subjects.

  • Curious and eager to solve complex questions
  • Quickly familiarize yourself with new software
  • Take responsibility and are dedicated to your goals
  • Work independently with a high level of initiative
