This Position reports to: Quality Control Manager

Work model: #

You will inspect and test internally produced parts, products, and systems to ensure that only compliant items are released to the next stage and ultimately to the customer. You will employ standard test protocols and apply specifications to ensure quality. You will also demonstrate your expertise by contributing to the development and implementation of standards and test methods to ensure that only compliant products, software, and services are delivered to the customer.

Responsibilities

In this role, you'll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:

  • Conducting internal routine tests as assigned to ensure that products, systems, or software meet specified requirements and customer expectations in manufacturing, factory test labs, or final inspection, in terms of both quality and scheduling
  • Conducting and/or supporting F.A.T. activities with the final customer
  • Reporting quality-related data and ensuring that the Quality Management System is followed at all stages
  • Collaborating in the resolution of issues through to completion, applying robust root-cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Providing feedback and advising engineering/R&D on improvement opportunities in product and/or process design
  • Assisting engineering staff in developing test protocols as needed to assess the integrity of new products or new functionality for existing products
  • Contributing to the improvement of existing test protocols and capabilities, resulting in greater efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of test outcomes
  • Using safety systems to perform work, contributing to an accident-free workplace
  • Notifying others when unsafe situations are observed and working with local HSE teams to improve safety systems
  • Executing and supporting specific quality-related training, promoting a passion for quality, integrity in all actions, and a zero-defect mindset, with a strong focus on results

Qualifications for the Role

  • Degree in Engineering, secondary school education, or experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Solid knowledge of mechanical and electrical topics, electrical diagrams, and testing equipment (Scope Corders, stabilized power supplies, and multimeter instruments)
  • PES qualification (Expert Person in accordance with CEI 11-27)
  • Flexibility in working hours and availability for shift work
  • Skilled in problem-solving and solution-finding and comfortable working in a shop-floor environment
  • Passionate about communication and implementing solutions to quality issues, engaging with various stakeholders across departments
  • Proficient in Excel, MS Office, SAP, and Power BI, with knowledge of AI tools such as Copilot, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Loop (considered a plus)
  • Comfortable communicating in Italian and good command of English (B1 level)
  • Valid category B driving license for use in Italy
