The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate to join the Funds Sales Support team in Milan on a permanent contract. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the local team, driving business performance, and ensuring operational excellence across a range of strategic and analytical activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead advanced analysis of fund sales and business performance, including sales, revenue, and market data analysis.
- Oversee business risk management and ensure effective controls are in place, maintaining compliance with corporate objectives and policies.
- Coordinate and monitor the workflow for Client Advisor presentations, including data updates, translations, and compliance sign-off.
- Supervise all aspects of client reporting (Solvency II, PRIIPS, MiFID II, etc.) and manage ad hoc requests with internal and external stakeholders (insurance companies, institutional clients, asset managers, advisory desks).
- Develop and strengthen strategic client relationships, providing business solutions and comprehensive support to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive cross-functional business projects and continuous improvement initiatives with an entrepreneurial and innovative approach.
- Prepare and oversee periodic and ad hoc business performance presentations and reviews, with a focus on MIS, net sales analysis, and product/client allocation monitoring.
Core Skills and Experience:
- Graduate degree in Economics or Finance (mandatory).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within asset management or the funds industry (mandatory).
- Advanced knowledge of the Italian retail investors market and its dynamics (mandatory).
- Deep understanding of Lux and Irish UCITS ranges and the Italian fund industry (mandatory).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office, CRM tools).
- Italian mother tongue and fluent in English (written and spoken).
