Position Overview

Reports to: Sales Manager

Work Model: Onsite

Location: Xiamen, China

Division: EL-ELDS-DSSWPAIS: MV Primary Switchgear

Main Stakeholders: ELDS

About the Role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the assigned Sales organization (division and market) and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation.

Responsibilities

General Responsibilities

  • Implement product marketing strategies in assigned area to meet business objectives and in line with global product strategy
  • Implement all marketing activities, and support Sales organization in driving sales and services of respective products

Main Accountabilities

  • Lead the team to cooperate with oversea sales team for the business development of MV products, on designated region
  • Implement the local go-to–market product marketing strategy, including definition and communication of product value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy
  • Achieve product marketing targets and budgets through regular oversight and definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed
  • Execute annual marketing plan in conjunction with relevant Business Units/Product Groups
  • Prepare business plans focused on business development for a defined market
  • Coordinate market analyses with Sales team members and define appropriate forecasts and plans
  • Evaluate and share customer research, market conditions and competitor data
  • Oversee sales execution for assigned products by providing relevant materials and guidance to Sales team(s)
  • Drive sales efficiency by delivering appropriate product knowledge information and training (technical and sales) for each salesperson
  • Facilitate know-how sharing and cross-collaboration
  • Drive team's competence development to meet business growth

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. or above degree preferably on electrical or mechanical
  • More than 8 years' working experience in the industry of medium voltage products, be familiar with MV products and systems
  • More than 5 years' experience in engineering design, project management, product management, service, or market/Sales development
  • Experience in complex projects management and customer relationships is an advantage
  • Team management experience is an advantage
  • Strong determination, perseverance, cross-cultural sensitivity
  • Very good customer support, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Understanding of contract negotiation, risk management and commercial and legal terms
  • Fluent written and spoken communication skills in mandarin and English
  • Proactive, high level of self-motivation, self-starter
