Position Information

Reports to: Development Group Leader IT&Sensors

Key Responsibilities

• Feasibility studies, design of instrument transformers and sensors for medium voltage applications
• Solving tasks in the field of research and development of these devices according to R&D project requirements, creating necessary documentation
• Simulation and testing to verify proposed concepts
• Manufacturing and testing prototypes, preparing test plans according to international standards requirements
• Responsibility for analyzing and solving technical problems related to the product and providing technical support
• Collaboration with other departments, research institutions, and other units within and outside ABB
• Monitoring the latest trends and advancements in the field of electrical measurement

Qualifications

• University degree in electrical engineering
• Knowledge of Solid Works or other CAD software, including the creation of technical drawings
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Advanced level of English (B1/B2)
• Good communication skills
• Independence, but also the ability to work in a team
• Ability to work under pressure and take responsibility
• Experience in the design and development of electrical devices is welcome
• Technical thinking, willingness to innovate and create new solutions
