Position Details

Reports to: Service Operations Manager

Location: Beynost (near Lyon) or Orsay (Paris)

Activity: Automation ABB Energy Industries is part of the Process Automation division, providing integrated automation, electrification and digitalization solutions to optimize industrial operations. We support our energy sector clients in their transition towards more sustainable operations, while improving their productivity and safety.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Integrate a dynamic team of 10 people working on new or evolving projects in France and abroad, around DCS and digital supervision solutions
• Be the guarantor of the technical solution for supervision engineering activities, ensuring technical excellence and formulating recommendations to industrial clients (Oil & Gas, chemistry, pharma, energy)
• Assist the project manager in technical execution: team composition, schedule development, supervision of engineers and technicians
• Follow project progress, propose action plans to limit risks and optimize costs, coordinate commissioning and acceptance phases, and write technical documentation
• Participate in regular on-call duties

Desired Profile

• Confirmed expertise in automation with industrial clients in process environments
• Good level of written and spoken English
• Strong awareness of work practices guaranteeing maximum safety
• Skills in customer orientation, pedagogy and diplomacy
