Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your knowledge by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

This role is contributing to the Automation – Energy Division in Bangalore- India Region

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Handling projects capably under the guidance of a Project Lead Engineer, ensuring completion of engineering and commissioning activities.

• Developing Distributed Control Systems (any DCS) solutions, including configuration, programming, and customization to meet project requirements.

• Installing DCS systems at customer sites, ensuring proper integration with existing infrastructure.

• Executing commissioning activities such as system validation, loop checks, and functional testing to guarantee performance.

• Conducting site visits, with domestic travel exceeding 70% of work time.

• Collaborating with project teams to align engineering deliverables with customer documentation and specifications.

• Supporting project closure by preparing As‑Built documents and ensuring smooth handover to customers..

Qualifications for the role:

• You enjoy working with industrial automation in the pharma and chemicals market.

• You have 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial automation DCS commissioning in process automation industry.

• You possess enhanced knowledge of 800xA.

• You are motivated by stakeholder management and team management.

• You have a diploma or degree in engineering, in instrumentation or chemical engineering.

• You are comfortable communicating verbally and in writing in English.
