About the Role

This Position reports to: Automation Manager

The Automation Engineer supports the development and implementation of industrial automation systems, contributing to the design, programming, and integration of control technologies across manufacturing operations. This role offers hands-on experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, and database connectivity, while also providing exposure to advanced technologies such as machine learning and artificial intelligence in smart manufacturing environments.

Work Model: Onsite

Location: New Berlin, WI

You will be part of the Smart Process Design Team and report to the Smart Process Design Manager.

Responsibilities

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Assisting senior engineers in PLC programming and SCADA system design
• Supporting control system & robot integration and troubleshooting
• Collaborating on data acquisition and database connectivity
• Participating in Industry 4.0 initiatives including IoT and smart analytics

Team Dynamics

You will join a high performing automation team as part of a larger Smart Process Design Team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Automation and Manufacturing
• Immersion in modern manufacturing and automation processes
• Enhanced knowledge of automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0 initiatives
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation, Robotics, or Manufacturing
• Passion for driving change through innovation and collaboration
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• American citizen or currently hold a US VISA / work permit
