About the Role
This Position reports to: Regional Center Manager
Mission
Are you passionate about technical sales, relationships with strategic customers and business development? ABB is looking for a Senior Sales Executive to work in the PAMA area, focusing on the rolling mill metallurgical industry, mining, and pulp and paper. This position is strategic for ABB's growth in Brazil, acting in a consultative, technical and results-oriented manner with major players in the sector. The professional will be responsible for managing strategic accounts, prospecting new customers and developing business opportunities across the national territory, with greater concentration in the South and Southeast regions.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of strategic customers in the rolling mill metallurgical industry, mining and pulp and paper, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
- Actively prospect new customers and projects (hunter profile), expanding ABB's market presence.
- Act in a consultative manner, understanding customer needs and positioning the ABB portfolio as a high value-added solution.
- Prepare and execute sales plans and forecasts and monitor the sales pipeline, using ABB's official tools.
- Prepare and negotiate commercial and technical proposals, ensuring that prices, commercial conditions, deadlines and technical requirements are aligned with the company's strategy.
- Work in collaboration with internal areas such as engineering, marketing, proposals and project management to ensure the best solution for the customer.
- Conduct technical and commercial visits throughout Brazil, focusing on the South and Southeast regions.
- Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales cycle, including post-sales follow-up when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with ABB values, as well as integrity, health, safety and environmental policies.
Qualifications
- Technical training in Mechanics, Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
- Solid experience in technical-commercial sales for the industry and B2B negotiations in the metallurgical sector, preferably in the rolling mill segment.
- Experience with active customer prospecting and business development.
- English at intermediate to advanced level.
- Availability for frequent travel throughout Brazil.
Differentials
- Knowledge of the steel industry, mainly in steelmaking, rolling and finishing processes, mining (weighing), pulp and paper and conversion.
- Experience with CRM tools, preferably Salesforce.
- Knowledge of technologies or products for measuring force in rolling processes and weighing in general.
