Position Overview

Reports to: Field Service Manager

Business Area: Process Automation
Division: Marine & Ports

You will carry out technical assignments with a focus on electrical and electrotechnical systems onboard vessels, including troubleshooting, commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance, testing, and refurbishment. This position requires frequent travel (60%) within France and abroad.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality services: installation, commissioning, maintenance, modernization, and retrofit on-site or remotely
  • Ensure equipment reliability and troubleshooting: identify failures, implement corrective and preventive measures, and inform internal teams
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors when necessary: ensure service quality and compliance with safety standards
  • Exceed customer expectations: anticipate needs, propose tailored solutions, and identify business opportunities
  • Guarantee safety and integrity: apply HSE standards, anticipate risks, and create a safe and reliable working environment

Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree (e.g., BTS Electrotechnics, BUT GEII) in an industrial field related to electrical/electrotechnical systems
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance on electrotechnical equipment (variable speed drives, transformers, HV/LV circuit breakers, rotating machines)
  • Strong knowledge of commissioning, servicing, and repair
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Observant, rigorous, methodical, and able to adapt to unforeseen situations, including emergencies
  • Availability for frequent travel within France and abroad (60%)
