This Position reports to: R&D Team Lead

Responsibilities

  • Own the challenge and take on the journey
  • Review requirements, create high quality design and implement efficient and effective solutions together with multi-disciplinary team members
  • Develop and maintain industrial control products firmware/software used in next generation or existing DCS system
  • Analyze risks, solve problems, decompose bottlenecks and generate recommendations for optimization
  • Work with cutting-edge technology and top experts to engineer solutions that shape the future

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree (BSc) / Master degree (MSc) in a relevant technical education like computer science, control technology, or electronics engineering
  • More than 3 years of C/C++ development experience on Linux/Vx Works platform; development background of large-scale C/C++ projects is preferred
  • Familiar with new features of C++11 and above
  • Familiar with UML for modelling design and analysis; good to have use experience of architect tool, such as Enterprise Architect, Plant Uml
  • Familiar with fieldbus protocol such as PROFINET, OPC UA, MODBUS, MODBUS-TCP, CAN, PROFIBUS, HART
  • Understand Agile methodology and software engineering practices, such as version management, code review, unit test, continuous integration, static code analysis
  • Good to have development or deployment experience for DCS/PLC systems control
  • Sufficient spoken and written English for daily work
