Project Sales Specialist – High Power Systems at ABB

Your Role: Own the Challenge
In this role, you will be responsible for driving project sales of High Power systems within customized energy efficiency solutions for industrial customers, in alignment with the division’s strategy. You will work toward achieving both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable growth in orders, revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction.
You will also play a key role in identifying and developing new business opportunities and strengthening customer relationships across the project lifecycle.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid
Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.
This role contributes to the Motion High Power Division, collaborating closely with stakeholders involved in customized energy‑efficiency industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery timelines, payment terms, and general terms and conditions, in alignment with ABB’s offerings and strategy.
- Ensure effective marketing activities and clearly articulate the value proposition of ABB solutions to customers.
- Identify and drive the development of new market opportunities within the assigned segment.
- Manage administrative activities throughout the sales process, supporting cash collection and project management when required.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in strategic and project sales, preferably within High-Power Systems.
- Experience in project planning and execution.
- Strong knowledge of energy efficiency solutions, process engineering, and sales strategies in industrial High-Power Systems.
- Experience in risk assessment and project contract negotiation is a plus.
- Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce), Installed Base (IB) databases, and digital service platforms.
- Strong customer orientation, with a passion for sustainability, innovation, and strategic thinking.
- Advanced proficiency in Spanish and English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
