Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Production Technician in defining processes. Each day, you will learn to accomplish relevant tasks through on-the-job training and applying this knowledge to support production. You will also showcase your expertise by optimizing the cost, quality, and on-time delivery of products.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Supporting the implementation, delivery, and continuous improvement of products and services within the defined area as directed
• Monitoring (under the supervision of a mentor) the production process and performing basic quality and testing checks
• Ensuring effective usage of consumables, spare parts for machinery and equipment, and all sorts of preventive and corrective maintenance processes
• Providing cycle time data for the production process to internal teams

This position reports to: Shift Leader

Qualifications for the Role

• Must possess a valid ITI Certificate from a recognized institute
• Trades accepted: Electrician, Fitter, Machinist, Mechanic, etc.
• Basic knowledge of tools and machinery related to the trade
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (for engineering trades)
• Understanding of safety protocols and quality standards

From general purpose to highly customized designs, synchronous motors and high voltage induction motors provide high efficiency, reliability and availability across all major industries and applications, including some in the toughest and most demanding environments. The division also has a long track record of designing and building generators for wide range of industries, including power generation, marine, oil and gas, mining, and data centers.
