Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist the Quality team in implementing and maintaining a quality system, including conducting audits, establishing controls, training on tools and methodologies. Each day, you will support activities related to quality management within the organizational unit. You will also showcase your expertise by reporting quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and customer cases and maintaining process documentation.

This role is contributing to the success of ABB Busway Plant in Selmer TN.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Daily Non conformance reporting through SAP transactions.
• Communicate reports on daily top 5 to whole team.
• Monthly Scrap pareto preparation for major scrap cost contributors.
• Reporting quality issues data, ensuring adherence to quality management system at all stages.
• Acquiring and reporting quality metrics and KPIs accurately and in a timely manner to facilitate the analysis and management of local processes.
• Utilizing measurement systems to produce data that reflect the accurate characteristics of materials, products, systems, and processes.
• Training local operational teams on relevant elements of quality management, supporting implementation, and promoting opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications for the role

• Highschool diploma or GED required.
• Prefer an associates degree.
• Require two years of manufacturing experience.
• Competency in MS Office (word, excel , power point)
• Ability to demonstrate your experience in interacting with co workers/ Have strong communication skills.
