Overall Summary

Represents Medium Voltage Grid Components Local Business Line to drive sales and market growth by defining, planning, and ensuring the implementation of product marketing strategies in line with global product strategy. Oversees sales and marketing activities and supports Sales organizations in driving sales for their respective products target achievement. Drive strategy and initiatives landing to ensure strategy well implemented as per timeline. Build strong market intelligence in dynamic markets to anticipate market trends and movement for preparing accurate strategy in expected granularity for proper implementation.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Creates, plans, and ensures implementation of the local go-to-market product marketing strategy, including defining and communicating product value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy.
  • Ensures achievement of established targets by overseeing progress and defining improvement actions as needed.
  • Focuses on achievement of the target set for metrics like total demand orders (by ABB and third-party), growth margin percentage, net price variance, Net Promoter Score (NPS), inventory turn on finished goods, and on-time delivery as requested.
  • Develops and implements marketing plans focused on driving Grid Components business development for a defined market, ensuring profitable business growth.
  • Evaluates market opportunities, customer research, market outlook, segment movement and competitor data determine appropriate activities aligned with the overall strategy, and coordinates opportunities across local divisions and local business line, as appropriate.
  • Build strong market intelligence in team tracking market trend with competitive landscape to support segment and channel granularity analysis as well as key customers buying behaviors.
  • Ensures balanced growth for all product lines and product groups.
  • Creates product demand by promoting technical aspects, providing solutions, and utilizing value-based selling approach.
  • Implements the market pricing policy for the Local Business Line, monitor price quality in line with market strategy and product positioning.
  • Ensures the execution of customer satisfaction surveys, analyzes results, and assists with corrective actions.
  • Develops and implements product support and training initiatives, ensuring high customer satisfaction, in collaboration with the global business line Marketing and Sales team.
  • Drives continuous improvement on NPS by visiting customers to understand their needs and ensuring the resolution of customer issues
  • Shares functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization.

Leadership & Behaviors

  • Lead the promotion plan in assigned products and business model with Sales & Channels.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
  • Builds an effective, capable, and high-performing organization and drive team for strategy and initiative implementation with business targets and behaviors achievement.
  • Develops talent and reviews effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or above, majoring in Electrical Engineering or related is preferred.
  • At least 10 years' working experience in MV/LV components product marketing, product management, or strategic marketing, with people management experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the electrification or automation sectors.
  • Experience with market research and analysis to inform product positioning and messaging.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions and optimize marketing strategies.
  • Team spirit and good communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.
