Reports to: Production Supervisor

Work Model: Onsite

Location: Smart Power Fabrication in Mebane, NC

In this role, you will have the opportunity to operate process equipment or machinery to convert raw materials or semi-finished parts into components or finished parts for a final product at the right time and with the required quality. Each day, you will execute the assigned tasks according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance. You will also showcase your expertise by operating machines in accordance with the operating manual, work schedule, and/or production order instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine machinery set-up, adjustments, and repair and fit simple replacement parts
• Ensure regular standard maintenance of the equipment, tools set-up, programming activities, and troubleshoot and report issues, if any
• Maintain detailed records of machinery set-ups, repairs, and maintenance activities
• Keep track of approved, defective units, and final products

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in Fabrication
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Demonstrated track record in machinery, welding, & brake press
• Proficiency communicating in English
