Your role and responsibilities:

Accountable for creating, planning and implementing China local Motor marketing & sales strategies. Proactively work with global marketing & sales team, front end sales team to drive sales efficiency and end to end profitability, develop the allocated China markets by optimizing the product portfolios, managing market positioning, follow up sales action plans to achieve both the key qualitative and quantitative targets in a profitable way, ensure a high levels of customer satisfaction through sales process.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Strategy: Responsible for establishing, planning and implementing the marketing & sales strategy for the allocated China local motor markets in accordance with the global BL marketing & sales strategy, budget and efficiency targets. Define and execute “go to market” strategies that secure Motor competitiveness. Establish Motor marketing and sales targets and ensure their achievement through regular oversight, definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed.
  • Sales activities: Responsible for achieving assigned growth in orders, margin and related objectives for the entire Motor product portfolio. Work with Common Front End Sales on evaluation of potential new and existing customers and their needs, leads the team in a proactive pre & post-sales approach with a focus on solutions for Motor applications. Responsible for the Motor portfolios and positioning management, Motor product marketing, strategic marketing plan for domestic on overall Motor portfolio. Oversee competitive analysis and market segment definition activities for Motor.
  • Customer relations and satisfaction: Drive smooth collaboration between front end sales and back end technical support and operation, organize effective SOP to ensure high service level to customers, continuously improve customer satisfaction for Motor. Secure robust and efficient sales support and RFQ process for Motor inquiries.
  • Volume, profit, price and cost : Identifies, monitors and maintains / exceeds the Motor sales market price levels, evaluating pricing impact on the results. Ensures achievement of Motor sales volume and product mix targets by setting appropriate price and margin for individual sales opportunities. Monitors client financial status related to Motor business and reports any changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams. Responsible for identifying and managing risks relating to Motor contract agreements and prices across customers/channels.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Bachelor degree or above in Electrical machines, electrical or Mechanics.
  • Minimum 5 years managerial experiences in marketing & sales as a minimal. background in sales of motors and generators is preferred.
  • Strong customer focus mindset, systematic and target-oriented way of working. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to develop and manage effective working relationships at all levels in a multi-culture environment.
  • Good leadership and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot original market/industry opportunities
  • Good application know-how, e.g. for Compressor, pumps and fan, crane, Marine, W&W etc.
  • Strong written and oral English skill as a must.
  • Flexibility for business travel.
