Position Overview

Reports to: Talent Acquisition Partner

Work Model: Onsite/Hybrid

Locations: Multiple locations in India including Nashik, Bangalore, Faridabad, and Vadodara

Business Units: Electrification, Automation, and Motion businesses

About the Role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.

Responsibilities

• Initiate Purchase Orders in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures
• Confirm delivery with suppliers
• Monitor and track supplier performance to PO requirements
• Negotiate agreements with main suppliers
• Periodically renew price lists and terms and conditions
• Recommend frame agreements to management and execute upon approval
• Analyze and evaluate bids to determine the optimal value
• Identify sources and develop product knowledge using SAP MM, MS Excel, and procurement tools

Qualifications

• Full time B.Tech in Electrical/ Electronics/Instrumentations or Full time Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/Instrumentations
• Experience in procurement of motors, pumps, rotating motors etc.
• Experience with electrical products such as:
• LV switchgear and power distribution equipment
  • Cables and cable installation materials
  • IT and networking products
  • Motors and drives
  • Automation systems
  • Field instruments
• Product knowledge of LV/MV Drives
• Experience with LV Switchgears (ACB, MCB, MCCB and PCC, MCC Panels)
• Experience with MV Switchgears (AIS, GIS & RMU)
• Vendor Development and Management experience required
• Experience range: 2-10 years
• Tools proficiency: SAP MM, MS Excel, and procurement tools
