Your role and responsibilities

As the Finance Business Process and Data Architect, this person will own the end to end finance business process architecture and solutioning for Order to Cash (O2C) Process covering all relevant global finance applications related to the O2C end-to-end process. This position will play a pivotal role in translating business requirements into system solutioning in collaboration with respective functional architects of related finance application.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Owning end-to-end business process design and system architecture for the Order-to-Cash (O2C) process across ABB global finance systems.
• Being accountable for reviewing and approving new and updated solutions, ensuring integrity, security and compliance of finance processes.
• Leading business requirements discussions with strong system understanding and the ability to demonstrate how finance applications can meet business needs.
• Defining functional solutions and ensuring alignment with other modules and surrounding IS applications through collaboration with solution architects and delivery teams.
• Conducting complex solution workshops with stakeholders to determine standard functionalities, required enhancements and acceptable workarounds.
• Supporting validation and prioritization of business demand in collaboration with IS Application Managers, Service Managers and ERP Domain Leads.
• Reviewing and signing off functional and technical use case specifications.
• Ensuring creation and maintenance of finance system process design documentation related to O2C.
• Collaborating with Incident Management to identify recurring design defects and drive root cause resolution.
• Assessing current system architecture and working with functional and technical teams to recommend improvements and optimize processes.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Engineering or similar field.
• SAP FICO or S/4HANA certification, preferably in Central Finance or FICO.
• 10+ years of experience in Finance/ERP, including 5+ years in O2C process design and solutioning.
• Proven track record in solution design, design thinking and leading implementation teams.
• Strong knowledge of SAP FSCM.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Good understanding of system design, data flows and integration methodologies.
• Experience with BPM tools such as Signavio or Celonis is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, Central Finance and related technologies.
• Strong communication, problem-solving skills and focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
