Your Role: Own the Challenge
We are looking for a high-impact Local Division Manager to lead ABB Automation, Energy Industries in Mexico. Based in Mexico City and reporting to the Hub Manager for the Americas, you will carry full end-to-end responsibility for the commercial, operational, and financial performance of the division. This is a rare opportunity to shape a critical market, build a high-performing team, and deepen ABB presence with key customers across Energy, Oil & Gas, and Power Generation.

What You Will Do:

  • Own and drive the full P&L of the Mexico Automation Energy Industries division: revenue, profitability, cost structure, and pricing strategy to deliver sustained, profitable growth.
  • Define and execute the commercial strategy for Mexico, identifying market opportunities, developing go-to-market plans, and translating customer needs into differentiated value propositions.
  • Build and sustain long-term, trusted partnerships with senior customer stakeholders across the Energy, Oil & Gas, and Power Generation sectors.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a large, diverse, multifunctional team (sales, marketing, operations, technical), fostering a culture of accountability, psychological safety, and high performance.
  • Champion business transformation and change management initiatives, driving execution excellence in a dynamic and competitive environment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and cross-geography with global product divisions, service teams, and regional leadership to leverage ABB full portfolio.
  • Attract, develop, engage, and retain top talent, building the next generation of ABB leaders in Mexico.
  • Represent ABB at the executive level, acting as a brand ambassador and industry thought leader in the Mexican market.
  • Ensure compliance with ABB governance, ethics, and sustainability standards across all business activities.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 10+ years of senior leadership experience driving commercial strategy and business growth within complex, industrial, or B2B environments.
  • Proven track record leading front-end sales and marketing organizations with full P&L responsibility, including pricing strategy, profitability optimization, and value-based selling.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, long-term customer relationships at C-suite level and deliver sustainable commercial outcomes.
  • Strong capability to translate customer needs into differentiated value propositions and deliver complex solutions across Energy, Oil & Gas, and/or Power Generation industries.
  • Extensive experience leading organizations through change, transformation, and scaling in dynamic environments.
  • Strong people leadership: experience managing large, diverse, multifunctional teams with a proven ability to attract, develop, engage, and retain top talent.
  • Inclusive and inspiring leadership style with a focus on culture building, psychological safety, accountability, and high performance.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, strong sense of ownership, and ability to foster cross-functional and cross-geography collaboration.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and spoken); excellent executive-level communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required.
