This position reports to: Project Operations Manager
This role is contributing to the Power Reliability (Excitation Systems) team within PAEN (Process Automation Energy Industries) division based at ABB's office and manufacturing facility located in Ville Saint Laurent Technoparc (Montreal), however this position will be based in either Houston, TX or Cleveland, OH with the goal of supporting our US customer base.

Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of small projects and sales orders with low-medium complexity. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by defining and applying basic project scheduling techniques to manage schedule risks proactively.
Reporting to the manager of the project management team you will maintain and enhance customer satisfaction by providing excellent service at all stages of the project. You will be mainly accountable for:
- Lead the execution of service sales orders including upgrades, repairs, care contracts, commissioning support, and site services
- Plan, coordinate, and control project activities in line with scope, schedule, cost, and quality targets
- Apply basic to intermediate project planning and scheduling techniques to proactively manage risks
- Monitor project financials including cost, revenue recognition, billing milestones, and margin performance

Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field
- Experience in project coordination or project management within service, industrial, energy, or automation environments
- Understanding of service project execution, including site activities, commissioning, and field operations
- Working knowledge of project finance, cost control, billing milestones, and margin management
- Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and project management tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced service environment with multiple parallel orders
