Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, as an Generator Engineering Manager for Motion Business Area in Shanghai, China, you will be responsible for leading generator engineering teams within MOHP-MG CN engineering department. Drive generator teams’ performance to ensure on time delivery of design docs/technical solution with high quality. Initiating continuous improvement projects to increase value-added activities across business value chain.

Main responsibilities

1.Responsible for on-time delivery and engineering quality of customer documents and manufacturing docs of generator engineering team(electrical and mechanical).

2.People allocation for electrical and mechanical engineering and leveraging both internal & external resources to ensuring design resource match order demand and maintain design capacity dynamically.

3.Leading generator engineering team to provide technical support for Customer, SCM, Quality and Manufacturing etc. Ensuring high quality solutions delivered within needed time to meet demand from both customer and internal operation

4.Leading generator enginering team to improve design quality continuously with the correct utilization of quality tools, leading team to initiate/engage continuous improvement projects to enhance product performance and increase value-added activities across business value chain.

5.Guiding, motivating, coaching and developing employees within HR policies. Implement competency assessment program, build up talent development plan and grow up team with business oriented.

6.Assists engineering manager to define internal and external process and others tasks from engineering department.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.

Professional Capability: At least 5 years of experience in engineering and technical design, proficient in motor/generator design, manufacturing process, and technical optimization.

Proficient in using engineering design software (e.g., CAD), familiar with motor design, manufacturing process, and technical troubleshooting.

Proven experience in team management, strong cross-departmental collaboration and coordination capabilities.

Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing), able to draft and review English technical documents.

Strong leadership, rigorous work attitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to promote project implementation efficiently.
