Position Overview
Reports to: Head- Supply Chain Function
Work Model: Onsite
About the Role
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support regional/global sourcing initiatives either under the leadership of a regional/global Category Manager or independently if under a defined threshold. Each day, you will purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring the purchase activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
You will be mainly accountable for:

Sourcing strategy - Implementing effective sourcing strategies for E-Steel and Copper materials, ensuring that suppliers can meet current and future business requirements, as well as ensuring that all relevant parties grasp strategies and execute processes accordingly.

Supply chain risk management – Ensure mid and long-term planning is in place to mitigate potential supply shocks and changes to regulatory landscape. Proactively monitor risks, lead escalations and other material management initiatives appropriate to the category. Communicate market trends including market drivers, cost structures, supply outlooks and technical developments.

Cost-out programs - Designing and implementing cost-out programs and/or processes to reach financial targets

Negotiations - Negotiate agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renew pricelists, terms and conditions.

Excellence - Run benchmark studies for the category and for specific sourcing initiatives.

Contract Management - Define and establish local standard agreements with all major suppliers, while providing and maintaining standard terms in purchase contracts/terms and conditions in line with company directives and guidelines. Negotiate all other terms including Price, which contribute to TCO.

Supplier performance - On-board new suppliers in close collaboration with the respective local buyer and run regular supplier evaluations and provide supplier reports to Businesses.

Orders - Run regional sourcing initiatives under a defined threshold. Support buyers in executing PO based on Frame Agreements and gather input for Improvements.

Communication - Foster communication internally, externally, and between businesses and support the implementation of Procurement activities and initiatives in the Region/Country through clear communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of experience in similar positions
- SAP ERP and Ariba knowledge
- Proficiency in English
