About the Role

This position reports to: Service Manager

As a Service Contract Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how we deliver long term value to our customers. This position blends strategic contract development with hands‑on collaboration, ensuring our service agreements evolve with market needs, customer expectations, and ABB's expanding capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead contract management services for the local business, ensuring all activities align with ABB directives, procedures, and the global contract management framework, while working closely with global ABB units to secure consistent delivery across regions
  • Ensure service agreement commitments meet customer expectations for our global customer base and support seamless execution of service delivery
  • Work directly with customers to identify operational improvement opportunities and eliminate pain points, including financial responsibility for the contracts you manage
  • Support tender preparation by advising on service selections that match customer needs, the operational capabilities of the service organization, and the requirements of our international stakeholders
  • Drive team and process performance for contract services, providing KPI insights and routing customer feedback to the right stakeholders, as well as managing scheduling and follow‑ups with the Marine & Ports on‑call team and call center

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in engineering
  • Experience developing and structuring commercial agreements that enable service organizations to sell complex offerings, ideally including cybersecurity services
  • Ability to collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure service offerings align with both market demand and internal capabilities
  • Strong commercial acumen, including defining pricing models and supporting service sales discussions with customers
  • Background in reviewing, improving, and renewing long‑standing customer contracts, with a focus on modernization and value creation
  • Comfortable working with Legal teams to update agreements and maintaining direct customer engagement around contracts, offerings, and value propositions
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
