Position Overview
Reports to: Global Procurement Manager
This is a regional position, open to candidates across all ABB Mexico locations, offering a hybrid work model. The role requires approximately 20% travel across the Americas.

Your Mission
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships, understand business needs, and partner with key functions to deliver results.
- Category & Sourcing Leadership: Define and execute category strategies, lead RFPs/RFQs/e Auctions, and identify innovative suppliers.
- Contract & Supplier Management: Lead contract negotiations, manage supplier performance, and ensure compliance with ESG and sustainability objectives.
- Digitalization & Data Analytics: Champion digital transformation by embedding AI and data-driven practices into procurement processes.
- Change & Innovation: Act as a change agent, train colleagues, and continuously seek opportunities to improve and automate.
- Risk Management: Monitor supply chain and cyber risks to ensure business continuity and compliance.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in strategic procurement, sourcing, category management, or related fields
- Proactive, collaborative mindset with a strong focus on innovation and continuous improvement
- Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills
- Solid expertise in negotiation and contract management
- Advanced proficiency in SAP Ariba, Apadua, Keelvar, Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Passion for digital innovation and AI in procurement, with hands-on experience using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity
- Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus
- Bachelor's degree completed (Business or Engineering preferred)
