This position reports to the Warehouse/Internal Logistics Manager and is based on-site in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon, contributing to the electrification business.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to oversee warehouse operations and manage a team of employees who receive, handle, store, and dispatch products, systems, and services to customers. You will be mainly accountable for:
- Coding and preparing proper receipt/dispatch paperwork
- Establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet warehouse demands as per production schedules and workflow
- Developing and maintaining departmental work instructions for all tasks
- Ensuring maintenance of equipment and facilities and identifying and recommending technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary
- Optimizing warehouse capacity, inventory, and floor utilization
- Supervising and assisting in daily warehouse and shipping operations
- Recommending measures to improve service quality, increase departmental efficiency, and boost the performance of work crews and equipment
- Ensuring stock accuracy by conducting periodic stock takes and/or cycle counting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, industrial, or related engineering field
- 5+ years of experience in similar roles as a warehouse supervisor
- Night shift work (7 PM - 7 AM)
- Advanced experience with SAP, Excel, Power BI, and AutoCAD
- Experience in receiving, shipping, and supplying production lines
- Knowledge of inventory control
- Experience leading teams of 25+ people
- Advanced English proficiency
- IMMEX and CTPAT experience preferred
