Your role and responsibilities

You will be Responsible for sales of products within a designated market in accordance with strategy. Achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets in a profitable way: order growth, revenues, profitability, market share and customer satisfaction. Build long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues. Identify and develop sales opportunities.

The work model for the role is: #Li-Onsite

This role is contributing to the ABB Electrification and Smart Building Division in Faridabad, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Managed complete business responsibility for DIN Rail and Wiring Accessories in the assigned cluster, meeting sales growth, profitability, volume, and product mix targets.

  • Developed and deepened relationships with builders, contractors, channel partners, and key customers to expand business opportunities and enhance customer loyalty for ABB Smart Building products.

  • Collaborated with cross-functional sales teams to identify new market opportunities, improve sales performance, and enable sustainable business growth through established partner networks.

  • Prepared monthly order booking and revenue forecasts while implementing strategic actions to ensure realization of forecasted sales targets and business objectives.

  • Planned and executed promotional activities such as workshops, seminars, practical training sessions, and customer engagement programs to increase product awareness, customer satisfaction, and market reach.

Qualifications for the role:

  • BE / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or equivalent engineering discipline with Graduate / Post-Graduate / MBA qualifications.

  • Possess 5 to 10 years of relevant industry experience in sales, marketing, business development, or channel management.

  • Extensive exposure to Low Voltage (LV) products with experience in Wiring Accessories and allied electrical solutions.

  • Good understanding of market trends, customer requirements, and business opportunities within the electrical and building products industry.

  • Demonstrated capability to oversee channel partners, major customers, contractors, and business stakeholders to increase sales and expand market presence.

  • Clear communicator and skilled negotiator who builds and maintains relationships while working collaboratively across diverse functional teams.

  • Results-driven professional experienced in meeting business goals, forecasting, customer engagement, and developing sustainable business strategies.
