ROLE SUMMARY:

The Manager, Digital Shelf Strategy is responsible for defining and advancing a best-in-class “Perfect Digital Store” vision, translating strategy into scalable execution across retailers and driving measurable growth across the digital shelf ecosystem.

In this role, you will lead the development of a holistic digital shelf strategy grounded in core e Commerce fundamentals and advanced growth levers, including availability, content excellence, search, taxonomy, and onsite merchandising. You will translate this vision into retailer and marketplace specific action plans that drive visibility, conversion and share of voice across key accounts including Walmart, Kroger, Total Wine, Door Dash and Instacart.

This role will own the roadmap for digital shelf technologies, ensuring adoption and execution across accounts. These tools will be leveraged to generate a full view of shelf performance and unlock growth opportunities.

In this role, you will shape how megabrands show up online, working with external agencies to deliver best-in class PDP hero images, carousels, ratings & reviews and SEO-optimized product descriptions, and will manage two contractors to drive digital shelf excellence forward as a growth pillar.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Digital Shelf Manager leads digital shelf excellence through syndication, product page content & onsite merch optimization and delivery, and digital shelf insights:

  • Drive overarching strategy for Perfect Digital Store tied to availability, visibility, findability and content

  • Monitor & provide recommendations to improve Digital Shelf KPIs, including share of merch, share of search and content health scores.

  • Develop high-performing product content (hero images, carousels, SEO-optimized product descriptions, titles) for megabrands across Must Win Occasions and new product launches. Lead Ratings & Reviews strategy.

  • Leverage PIM systems (Salsify & Syndigo) to syndicate content across retail partners

  • Manage two digital shelf contractor

  • Ad hoc work as necessary tied to e Commerce trainings, presentations to highlight digital shelf successes, work with digital shelf partners, etc.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree, emphasis in business or marketing related fields, highly preferred

  • 3-5 years experience in e Commerce, digital marketing, market research, consumer packaged goods or related fields

  • Familiarity with and fundamental understand of Digital Shelf and e Commerce fundamentals

  • Familiarity with digital shelf tools, such as CommerceIQ, Profitero, Salsify, Bazaarvoice and others a plus

  • Prior experience processing search trend data sets

  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize & leverage multiple data points/insights (shopper, consumer, category, product) to create digital shelf best practices that unlock e Commerce growth

  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and work with cross-functional teams
