Job Description:

Job Summary

This role is responsible for managing marketing activities for a portfolio of surgical and medical products in India. These products are used by hospitals and healthcare professionals to improve patient safety and surgical outcomes.

The role involves understanding customer needs, planning marketing activities, and supporting business growth by working closely with sales and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute marketing activities for assigned products, including pricing, promotions, and channel initiatives
  • Understand the needs of hospitals, doctors, and healthcare professionals, and use these insights to support business decisions
  • Study market trends and competitor products to identify growth opportunities
  • Work closely with sales teams and other internal teams to run marketing campaigns and increase product usage
  • Support achievement of business targets such as sales, pricing, and profit margins
  • Drive adoption and growth of key products that improve patient safety and reduce surgical risks
  • Partner with teams such as Sales, Clinical Specialists, Scientific Affairs, and Application Engineering to execute campaigns effectively
  • Work with digital marketing teams to generate demand and meet campaign targets
  • Provide the sales team with tools, training, and marketing materials to help them build and close opportunities
  • Conduct regular field visits to hospitals and customers to understand real-world challenges and gather feedback
  • Track competitor activities and market developments
  • Support activities such as product updates, training programs, and customer engagement events
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with company ethics, compliance, and healthcare regulations

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in medical devices, surgical consumables, or critical care products preferred
  • Good communication skills (written and spoken English)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint

Work Style

  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable working with multiple teams
  • Willing to travel and interact with customers (hospitals, clinicians)
