Inventory Specialist, Supply Chain / Materials Location: Hayward (on‑site) Weekend Shift: Friday-Sunday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM About 1X We build humanoid robots that work alongside people to solve labor shortages and create abundance. Role Summary Maintain accurate inventory of parts and materials to support high-precision manufacturing operations. This role ensures materials are received, stored, and issued properly to keep production efficient and organized. Key Responsibilities - Receive and inspect incoming materials, verifying part numbers, quantities, and condition. - Store inventory in designated areas with proper labeling and traceability. - Pick and kit materials for production orders according to BOMs. - Perform cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies through root cause analysis. - Track shelf life and maintain FIFO rotation for sensitive parts. - Record inventory transactions in ERP systems and issue material to work orders. - Follow standard operating procedures and maintain 5S standards in storage areas. - Support continuous improvement efforts to increase inventory accuracy and reduce loss. - Experience in inventory control, materials handling, or manufacturing environments. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Skilled in cycle counting, reconciliation, and documentation. - Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems. - Knowledge of material handling and FIFO practices. - Hands-on, reliable, and able to maintain clean, organized workspaces. - Effective communicator and team collaborator. - Dependable and committed to process improvement.
