Dear hiring team,
I understand that the central requirement for this UX Designer role is understanding user tasks and constraints, shaping flows and information architecture, testing usability, and specifying accessible behavior. I am motivated by UX work that reduces the cognitive burden of consequential tasks without hiding necessary complexity.
I completed this work as Junior UX Designer with senior review. With a senior colleague reviewing the change, I combined UX research with prototyping of a financial task, comparing labels and recovery paths in Sketch. I changed the flow when participants mistook a saved draft for a submitted request.
Within that same senior-reviewed scope, I limit my claim to the assigned work. Within an assigned workstream, I tested typography and layout in an HTML and CSS prototype with long names, zoom, and narrow screens. I adjusted reading order and inline errors so the task remained understandable without the desktop layout.
I would welcome the opportunity to discuss the decisions and delivery I owned, and how I could apply that experience in this role.
Sincerely,
J. Lee
