Dear hiring team,
I understand that the central requirement for this UI Designer role is creating coherent visual hierarchy, component states, responsive behavior, design tokens, and accessible interface detail. I want to make interface quality systematic so clarity and accessibility survive beyond a single polished screen.
As Senior UI Designer, I held both execution and review responsibility. As workstream lead, I built Figma components for a design system with documented states, spacing, and typography. I checked long labels and validation errors so teams could reuse the component without inventing missing behavior.
Within that same senior scope, I also owned the following work. With responsibility for the review standard, I reviewed interaction design and accessibility with keyboard-only navigation, visible focus, and error announcements. I paired with engineering to fix differences between Figma specifications and rendered components.
I would welcome the opportunity to discuss the decisions and delivery I owned, and how I could apply that experience in this role.
Sincerely,
J. Lee
