Dear hiring team,
I understand that the central requirement for this QA Engineer role is making release risk visible through test strategy, reproducible defects, automation, exploratory coverage, and clear quality decisions. I am motivated by quality work that helps teams make informed release decisions instead of treating testing as a final gate.
I completed this work as Junior QA Engineer with senior review. With a senior colleague reviewing the change, I wrote risk-based test plans for ad playback across devices, covering consent, mid-roll timing, and failed requests. I linked each quality assurance check to a release criterion and a reproducible defect.
Within that same senior-reviewed scope, I limit my claim to the assigned work. Within an assigned workstream, I built Selenium test automation for subscription and playback flows. I replaced fixed sleeps with state-based waits and retained network logs so failures could be distinguished from flaky timing.
I would welcome the opportunity to discuss the decisions and delivery I owned, and how I could apply that experience in this role.
Sincerely,
J. Lee
